Italy… 8-14 September 2016

It is always exciting!

Whenever I go back to Italy it gives me a great pleasure to spend quality time with my family and friends and the opportunity to visit some place still unexplored. Leaving at dawn, I left the cold weather in London which meant the day could only get better!

Landing in the capital is always impressive. I flew over Lake Bracciano and then over the center of the city where I had a view of St. Peter’s Basilica, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Colosseum…

And so, after renting a car at the airport, I arrived home just in time for breakfast…

This time, I also had the opportunity to visit a winery in Tuscany and learn new things about wine production. Luckily, a friend of mine was working on the harvest and I immediately took advantage of it…

The scenery in Tuscany is always outstanding…

Going back home always leaves me a sense of sadness. I’m attaching a picture from the airplane of the port of Civitavecchia…

The sunset while landing in London made it even more nostalgic…
