Niagara Falls… what a dream!

Niagara Falls: 4th- 5th September 2017

After three beautiful days in Boston (===>Boston), our next destination was Niagara Falls.

The distance we needed to drive was long: a total of 467 miles (about 750 Km) that took more than 7 hours.

We decided to leave when it was still dark to be able to enjoy more time of daylight. For that reason, we were able to reach our destination during the middle of the morning and enjoyed this spectacle of nature right in front of our eyes…

Niagara Falls: U.S. side

We parked the car on the US side to reach the waterfall walking. What you will find in front of your eyes is difficult to describe, even the photos don’t do it justice.

There are places you must visit at least once in your life time and Niagara Falls is definitely one of those…

In the US, you will find yourself next to one of the two imposing waterfalls, while the other you can see in the background, just like in these photos.

However, for those who are as daring as we were, there is a chance to take a boat trip down the waterfalls, or even just go down under one of the two falls just to understand the power and to find yourself completely wet from head to toe!!! And of course, we did it! It was really a unique experience!

Niagara Falls: Canada side

After all this, there was only one more thing to do: cross the border to have a front view of the waterfalls from the Canadian side.

Once we dried up and returned to the car, we headed for the bridge that separates the United States from Canada, and in a few minutes, we found ourselves enjoying the same show but with a different angle…

Our AirBnB was in the US part of Niagara Falls, so after spending more than an hour to get back to the United States, we found ourselves in this old-time home with Kathy and Joe, two amazing hosts…
