This year, for my birthday, I decided to give myself a dinner in one of the many starred restaurants in Paris. I choose this restaurant L’Agapé (TripAdvisor) because I was attracted by their tasting menu.
When I purchase the airline tickets I also made the dinner reservation and on the morning of my birthday I got an email to confirm my presence for dinner. It was a little courtesy that let us know what kind of service we would received that evening, absolutely impeccable.
From the moment we entered, the staff came to greet us and take our jackets. When we left, we felt cuddled because everything was done with care and coordinated timing.
Our dinner started with Chef’s welcome appetizers, of which I attached the photos…

The first was sublime, the second was absolutely special because of its consistency, a game of different temperatures for the third, all in a set of classic flavors, such as peas and lemon peas, spinach with anchovies, but still particular. All accompanied by the two types of butter served, which made it almost difficult to stop eating it with bread.
Let’s go to the starters: first, the white asparagus which was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a red egg of confit, bottarga and edible flowers. It had remarkable presentation and beautiful color gaming, for a dish that encloses itself like spring. And what about marinated tuna? Some flavors should only be tasted to understand the goodness…
